John Simmons, an industrial designer with a MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago began his freelance design and model making career in a studio apartment
in Mt. Prospect, Il in 1967.
In 1971, John had contracts from 4 divisions of Brunswick, numerous accounts with architects and buiders that necessitated a relocation to a shop in Franklin Park. Our projects exploded from architectural models to exhibits, tradeshow management, graphics and custom cabinetry.
Today, our design group operates from our Lombard studio and specializes
in architectural and museum scale models. Our tools have changed from table saws
to Laser cutting and cad cam technology equipment. My clients are from all corners
of North America and Australia.
